Rosemany was born in Central Otago, New Zealand and graduated from the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts in 1972. She became a teacher of Art and Art History for many years. The horse began as a form of life drawing, which then demanded paint, with focus on brushwork as much as imagery. Her paintings capture and celebrate the elequence and athleticism of the horse, with focus on the art of the dressage discipline, expressing the full harmony between horse and rider.
Rosemany is an internationally known artist, participating in shows in Australia, Germany and the UK.
