Description

Bryan Mcvicar is an excellent communicator capable of engaging students at all levels & from different horsemanship backgrounds. His vast range of experience means that whether you focus is dressage, western or just developing great horsemanship he will equip you with the skills and knowledge to help you develop a great partnership with your horse.

Bryan specialises in methods which emphasise the importance of working with the horse’s mind. In winning the mind Bryan can achieve complete control over the horse’s body, forming a willing partnership beneficial to both parties. You can now take advantage of these methods, and gain direct access to Bryan’s wealth of knowledge, through the many learning resources and range of teaching material Bryan has made available on this site. Bryan is also available to work with your horse directly.

Bryan has a reputation as one of the best colt starters in New Zealand. Working both from home and regularly travelling around New Zealand, both starting young horses and teaching.

Bryan’s passion has become about passing on the knowledge he has accumulated over many years or working with and observing horses. Bryan is a very effective teacher. From beginner level, kids and nervous adults, right through to helping top level riders achieve finesse in their movements.

Bryan’s dressage and competition background gives him a unique skill set –of being able to help your horse work like an athlete and bring out the best in performance possible. All doing so working with the horse’s mind. Never forced into a frame.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER
Bryan is available to work with you and your horse individually. He can engage your horse at any level of the schooling process with a focus on softness and respect.

Horses can be boarded at Bryan’s purpose-built facility in Amberley, North Canterbury or he may be able to come to your property by arrangement.

Safe travels Bryan 👍🏻

So I assume this means there will be no coffee and horsemanship for the next couple of weeks?

Yay! Hope you have a smoother sailing than we did south today! Was horrible

I remember this day. Martin Black clinic. This was a fun day, till the wind from Nor'west hit.

Have fun up there!! 😍😍😍

Safe travels
