Horses have been an integral part of the River Valley experience, since the beginning. The family have always had horses, with Nicola and Janey being particularly passionate about them. It was an extension of this passion that lead to the creation of River Valley Stables. Located just 3 km from River Valley Lodge,Taihape, New Zealand, the Stables has developed as a niche provider of hill country horse treks and trail rides, exploring the countryside of the northern Rangitikei District.
