Miss Amber

Amber is 15 years old standy, who has never raced and is standing at 16.1hh (home measured)
She is great for the farrier, being wormed, being covered but she can have her moment at being caught. She currently has seedy toe on both front hoofs and we are trying to beat it. She doesnt show that its affecting her, shes a really tough girl. She also has cloudy eye on her left eye and doesn't seem to affect her either.

Amber definitely prefers being hacked out rather than arena work unless being lunged or ground work then she is a real super star. Her latest trick is being free lunged over little jumps. She really is a smart girl. We don't think shes had been ridden much before getting her but seems to pick things up really quick. She loves playing in water. She can trot and has started to canter. Amber doesnt mind being behind or in front when riding out, her ears tell a different story when shes behind but never acts out.

I have only owned Amber since March 2020, and tried so hard for this to be her forever home as she has had a hard life, I love this girl but shes just not right for me her next home I would love for it to really be her forever place. A confident rider is a must, as I got her for my first horse I did not have the confidence for her but gave it ago and still do.

Cant say she has no bite or buck but only towards other horses if food is involved. She is very food oriented and loves to steal other horses food, so is better off feeding separately. Shes currently on 2 hard feeds a day and hay twice a day. When I first got Amber she was very grass affected and just her ground manners changed drastically.

Amber's current paddock buddie is a 17 year old standy geilding who she has a love hate relationship with, loves to cuddle with him but also loves to chase him around. But is definitely the boss of him since day one.
