5 Year Old Appaloosa Stationbred
Green horse who goes perfectly
Spider is a super cute young horse who was started in June. He is bold, inquisitive and so trustworthy. With his unique pattern, and personality, he always stands out in our herd.
Spider is very happy to see you when you go out to the paddock, and always comes up to say “Hi!”. He’s a horse who loves cuddles and all the human attention he can get, yet his ground manners are naturally very good. He ties up anywhere and is excellent with his feet, washing, drenching etc. Spider is good with cars, traffic, and farm machinery. Loads into the float like a dream.
Spider was started in June 2020 and hasn’t put a foot wrong. He is willing and calm under saddle and listens well to whoever is riding him. He is happy to be ridden in a saddle and bareback with most of his training done so far bitless. He accepts a bit happily, but is so responsive bitless that we have just been bringing him along without, most of the time.
He can be mounted from a block, leg up, tractor, raised bit of ground, or pretty much anything. Spider has trekked out many times in a group as well as on his own, and goes very nicely either way. He has also been taken over small jumps, started to be ridden in an arena and has been to the beach! He has performed perfectly, and has been totally honest throughout.
He loves the jumping that he has done, and shows the promise of a snappy technique.
He has an excellent base to become the perfect all rounder guy.
Spider would also suit someone who is interested in training and bringing a horse on. He has the potential to be the perfect easy family pony, a second pony for fun, or an exciting competition prospect. He has been extremely willing and has cheerily accepted every situation we have put him in so far. We are incredibly happy with his progress.
We will be picking the best home for him as we are so keen to see him stay a happy, willing, and engaged guy!
