Velazquez - ‘Vela’ - 9yo 16hh gelding by High Chaparral.
Vela is a seriously cool horse, who has evented successfully to 95cm with wins and placings, and has schooled higher showing plenty of ability.
He is well schooled on the flat, and has three very nice paces, with leg yield and counter canter established, and has competed well to novice level (level 2).
He is correct and pretty enough that he would even do very well in the hack ring if he was produced as a show horse.
Vela is safe and straight forward, and incredibly easy and fun to ride. He would make a perfect first hack for someone!
He is good to handle, and nothing is a fuss for him, he is laid back with a eager to please attitude.
